Jiahao Zhang

I am a first-year Ph.D. student at University of Macau, supervised by Prof. Zhedong Zheng and Dr. Shaofei Huang. I was a software engineer at CiticBank from 2021 to 2025. Previously, I obtained a Master degree of mechanical engineering at City University of Hong Kong in 2020 and a Bachelor degree of Automation at Nankai University in 2018.

I am interested in computer vision and related topics. I believe that humanity can explore and ultimately create entirely new worlds through the power of computer vision. My research interest focuses on multimodal model and generative learning.

Looking forward, I will join the National University of Singapore (NUS) as a research intern under the fortunate supervision of Prof. Angela Yao, working on reinforcement learning and innovative representations for embodied assembly capabilities of multimodal agentic models.

We propose UATTA, a novel Pretrain-then-Adapt framework for text-based person search that utilizes bidirectional retrieval disagreement uncertainty to enable dynamic model adaptation on unlabeled test data.
